Zone7, the AI-powered human performance platform, and recent Serie A winners, S.S.C. Napoli have today announced an extension of their strategic partnership for a further three years.
Napoli began using Zone7’s technology at the start of the 2022/2023 season, during which they won the Serie A league and had a highly successful Champions League campaign. Zone7’s platform analyzes comprehensive player information, including in-game and training data, as well as biometric, strength, sleep, and stress levels to create injury risk signals and practical intervention methods that aim to improve athlete performance while lowering injury incident rates.
During that season, Zone7 was used by Napoli’s Scientific Director, Prof. Raffaele Landolfi and Napoli’s performance staff to help keep the club’s top performers on the pitch. Versus the season before, Napoli saw a 59% increase in days available and a 52% reduction in days lost as a result of non-contact injuries.
