Zone7, the AI-driven human performance platform, is proud to support LMA Members as a new Technical Partner.
As adoption of data collection tools and applications continues to accelerate within professional football, the Zone7-LMA collaboration will focus on developing data science-themed informational resources, including whitepapers, webinars, and intimate working group sessions, which will be shared via the LMA Institute of Leadership and High Performance.
Through this partnership, Zone7 will share its expertise with LMA members on the growing importance of data science across athlete performance and workload management, as well as how managers, coaching, performance and medical professionals can harness this discipline to inform their decisions.
“The LMA is an integral part of the football industry and is renowned for supporting its members’ professional development needs as they keep abreast with the game’s evolution.” said Rich Buchanan, Performance Director at Zone7. “We look forward to working alongside its leaders to create learning resources for LMA members who are keen to explore data science’s full potential within their own coaching environments.”
Zone7 already works with numerous forward-thinking football clubs that have embraced advanced technologies to analyse player workload data. As well as working across the Premier League, English Football League, and Women’s Super League, clubs outside of the UK such as Napoli and LAFC are also applying Zone7’s technology to great effect.
